How you´ll learn
The Hyper Island approach is different from a traditional online course. We combine hands-on learning in your workplace with a fast-paced online environment to create a powerful experience that truly pays off.
Every Sunday the weekly module is introduced. You will receive a Learning Kit of original content and insights to maximize your knowledge. The course content is available for you to go through any time you choose during the week.
Join Live Sessions
The one-hour online webinar session is scheduled on Wednesdays 15:00-16:00 CET and held by digital marketing experts and course facilitators. They will dig deeper into the weekly module content and discussing questions and challenges. You can join it live or watch the recording in your own time.
Every week there will be hands -on tasks and challenges to solve. They are designed to integrate with your work to build your competence. Deadline for sharing your results from your challenges and reflection on the process is on Sundays.
This course is designed to be flexible to your schedule. The time commitment is individual however expect to spend approximately 5 – 8 hours per week on your learning.
We find that much of the learning comes through interactions and discussion from your peers on the course and. As part of your journey, we expect you to read other participants work and share your feedback to create an interactive participatory experience.

What level is this course at? Beginner, intermediate or expert?
The course teaches skills for both beginners and the more intermediate digital marketers. This is possible through the content and tasks being designed to be flexible to your level of experience and because you are applying for the course directly to your own company case.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes. Participants get a certificate of completion if they hand in their 6 weekly reflection journals. The reflection journal is essentially a diary of what you learn in the course and how it relates to you.
I work full-time, can I still attend this course?
Yes. The course is designed to be flexible to your schedules and requires you to spend on average 5-7 hours per week, although often this can be integrated into your existing work.
Are there specific dates and times that I need to be available?
The majority of the course content and tasks are available for you to go through any time you choose during the week, with the exception of a weekly one-hour webinar session which is scheduled on Wednesdays 15:00-16:00 CET.
What technical / practical setup do I need to have?
To get the most out of the course it is good to have access to your/a company’s website analytics platform (Google Analytics) and social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc.) in order to test, measure and analyse data. It is though not required, to take the course. If you can not access these platforms you can work on a hypothetical case of your own choice and there will be more strategic challenges for you to complete as part of your tasks.
I work at a B2B company, is this relevant for me?
Yes. This course is applicable for B2B just as much as B2C marketing. We think you should use the same digital marketing skills, tactics and principles but with different content depending on the price, value, and level of personalization that the service provides.
