3rd Party Solutions
Hyperisland.com uses the 3rd party service solutions Dibs Payment and Stripe for secure online credit card payments. As third party services, Dibs Payment and Stripe ensures the security of the payment solution. Please refer to DIBS Payment and Stripe to read more about the services specifically.
The registration to a Hyper Island learning experience is binding. As a registrant, you are personally responsible for the cost of the course (local VAT may apply).
10% of the course fee is a registration fee and is non-refundable.
The seat is not guaranteed until the course fee is paid.
The fee must be paid in full no later than 30 days after the invoice date or 4 weeks before the start of the course (whichever is sooner).
If you are unable to attend, another person can take your seat at no extra cost.
If you need to transfer your registration to a later date, the following terms apply:
- A fee of 10% of the total tuition will be charged
- Less than 2 weeks before the course start - No rescheduling permitted. (Exception is made for illness proved by a doctor’s certificate. The participant can transfer to another course date. )
If you need to cancel your registration, the following terms apply:
- Between 4 and 2 weeks before the course start – 50% of the total fee will be charged
- Less than 2 weeks before the course start – 100% of the total fee will be charged. (Exception is made for illness proved by a doctor’s certificate. The participant will be refunded a maximum of 90% of the total fee.)

Cancellation by Hyper Island
We reserve the right to cancel a course due to low enrollment up to 10 business days before the course starts. Keep this in mind when making travel plans. You will be notified by phone or email if this is the case, at which time:
- You may join a different course at no extra cost, or;
- You may receive a full refund .
Master Classes or Labs Registration Expiration
Participant registrations are valid for 12 months from the day of registration (this includes date of original online registration or original date invoice was sent). Registrants are required to attend the Hyper Island Master Class within the allotted period of time (or send a replacement) regardless of transfer payments being remitted. Hyper Island may allow exceptions for medical issues (provided a doctor's note is supplied), or a death within immediate family.
We accept payment via online payment, check or electronic payment. Please contact us or the respective contact person listed for each learning experience to pay with our invoicing option.
Personal Use & Use of User ID/Password
When using hyperisland.com as a registered user, part of the Hyper Island Community, it is your responsibility to maintaining the confidentiality of your registration information. We (Hyper Island) have access to your profile information, but not your password. If you have forgotten your password you can use the “Forgot password” function available at the login section in the top header.
You are not allowed to sell, transfer or sublicense your registration information. Your registration information and profile are personal.
You may not share, reproduce or sell the work of others presented on hyperisland.com or the forum without explicit consent from the creator or Hyper Island respectively.
If you sign up for a service
When you sign up for any of our services – paid or otherwise – we will record specific personal information about you, such as your name and email address.
We will also collect and store information about your use of our services so as to improve them. For example, we keep a log of what features are being used at any time.
We also log account and transaction history for accounting purposes, and to monitor our business activities.
We may send you email notifications regarding your service (such as invoices) or which you have specifically requested (such as newsletters or notifications when a course is starting). You have the ability to opt out of any of this communication at any time.
We will never provide your personal information or email address to any third parties except where they are specifically employed to help deliver our own services.
