The future is mobile; devices, applications, platforms, games and communication are changing rapidly and constantly. In the Mobile Creative program you will design, develop and build experiences powered by creative innovation and future technologies.

There's no question that the world is going mobile. From the explosion of portable devices to connected applications and platforms, games and communication, we have now seen both offline and digital behavior taken huge shifts. It is not only breaking down barriers in developing countries but it has also largely changed the way we fundamentally consume and create content.

The Mobile Creative program is designed to be multifaceted, with parallel focuses on idea generation, entrepreneurship, and an emphasis on how to turn your ideas into advanced mobile innovations with high-impact usability.

We are seeking talented people who are interested in building on their existing design and technical abilities, while exploring methods and techniques for creating better user experiences.

At Hyper Island, you will be immersed collaborative and high-energy learning environments that mirror the modern workplace dynamics. Surrounded by a diverse set of talent and industry experts from all over the world, you will get a chance to create solutions based on real briefs that set by real clients.

You will also be challenged grow both professionally and personally by practicing self-leadership, grasping the inner workings of group dynamics and constantly acquiring new tools and knowledge to develop your abilities.

This program allows you to work with industry professionals, drawing on their insight and experience. By the time you graduate you would have a wide array of skills and knowledge to draw from, prepared to launch or upgrade an exciting career as an Mobile Applications Designer, Developer, Producer or Project Manager.

During your time at Hyper Island you will undertake an internship, most likely with one of the 600 companies in Hyper Island’s global network. Your internship will give you on-the-job opportunities, industry experience, and access to international contacts.

Program fee

Nordic students

For persons with a legal residency in any of the Nordic countries (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland or Faeroe Islands), regardless of nationality or citizenship, it is possible to apply to one of the governmentally funded seats, i.e free of charge. Please note that applicants eligible for governmentally funded seats are also able to apply to International seats with a program fee. If you’re interested, please add that request to the application form and we will contact you for more information.

International students

For International Students the 65-week program fee is 170 000 SEK.

Student Loan

Hyper Island now offers student loans on a 3 or 5 year basis for the Mobile Creative program. This loan is subject to individual assessment and restricted to a set number of seats. Please inquire for further details by sending Miranda Bachelder an email at


A minimum of one year relevant industry experience within the field of coding and/or programming or equivalent i.e. self taught.

High School Diploma or similar - or foreign equivalent.

All applicants need to verify English language proficiency.
