You will then apply what you’ve learned to communicate and foster innovation in your organization. This course explores in an original, fun and practical way the mindset and tools needed to enable innovation to flourish in your organization.

Six areas of study

You will discover how to use a range of innovation tools as well as practice the mindset to create value and purpose. You will develop your own definition of innovation that applies not only you but everyone at your organization.

Breaking Down Innovation

You will explore what innovation is, and why it is essential. You will gain confidence in your ability to create innovation and creating teams to enable conversations to deal with ambiguity, as well as building trust and openness.

Insights and Opportunities

By conducting research, you will understand the pain points, problems and needs of your user/customers and develop empathy to reveal insights and discover opportunities to identify the right problem to solve, exploring how to fall in love with the problem without necessarily knowing the solution.

Idea Generation

You will come up with a wide range of ideas or solutions to real problems in a short time. You will learn practical methods for individual and collaborative brainstorming, as well as building confidence in how to facilitate idea generation processes in teams.

Prototyping and Testing

You’ll learn rapid prototyping tools, how to bring ideas into life and share them with real users to get feedback and refine the solution. You will explore a fast and iterative process and a new mindset of learning by doing.

The Art of Pitching

You will craft an impactful pitch for innovation in collaboration with your team. Discover how to create a clear story with emotional value and business relevance to inspire your audience. Using visual storytelling tools to motivate your team, your users, your client and anyone in your organization.

Empowering Innovation

You will have experienced the process of generating and executing an original idea, gaining an understanding of how to cultivate an environment that enables teams to navigate that process.

You can probably tie most of our major progress as a civilization to some form of technological innovation in our entire history. What seems old now were once innovative breakthroughs back in their heydays.

Revolution and disruptions come in waves when the world needs it. Nothing is new. Society, individuals and businesses rise and fall accordingly to how well they anticipate or adapt to these changes. Many disruptions are often just new innovative ways of solving old problems.

Innovations are a result of original thinkings, and originality comes from the ability to think differently, which is strongly linked to creativity. Here we don’t believe that creativity is a fixed inherent trait. The crucial part is if the individual or organization is in the right mindset, and if they are equipped with the right methods and tools needed to unlock their full potential.

For all that to happen, companies and individuals first need to step away from assembly-line thinking and gain a deep understanding into how creativity works, what is needed for it to thrive before and being able to apply it to their work effectively.

By using a set of methodology that focuses on the why as much as the how and the what, on team collaboration instead of individual effort, we challenge participants to grow personally and professionally.
