What you’ll be doing
This 6-week online course is designed to be flexible to your schedule. The majority of the course content and tasks are available for you to go through any time you choose during the week, with the exception of a weekly one-hour webinar session which is scheduled on Tuesdays 15:00-16:00 CET. Expect to spend 5-7 hours per week on your learning, although often this can be integrated into your existing day to day work.

Yes. This course introduces a broad and versatile set of methods that can be applied in a range of ways. Even if “innovation” is not part of your job description, you’ll learn useful new tools to unlock insight, creativity and value in any project.

Do I get a certificate?
Yes. Participants get a certificate of completion if they complete and submit all of the tasks and challenges during the course. These might include things like completing templates, conducting user research, trying out tools and processes and sharing reflections.
Are there specific dates and times that I need to be available?
The majority of the course content and tasks are available for you to go through any time you choose during the week, with the exception of a weekly one-hour webinar session which is scheduled on Tuesdays 15:00-16:00 CET.
Are there any prerequisites for this course?
Each participant should be prepared to apply/practice new innovation tools and methods each week. Since many of these methods are collaborative, we recommend involving your team. If this is not possible, there are other ways you can apply the course content.
How is my team involved via my participation in the course?
If you work in a team, we encourage you to include them in the experience through various exercises and activities. Some weekly challenges will ask you to try out tools in a team context. For example, trying out a new idea generation method or research tool. Participants should make their team members aware that they are taking the course, and get the team’s buy-in to make the most of the practical nature of the course.

Due to the applied nature of this course, the value to your team and organization will be quickly visible. You will be applying new innovation tools in real-time and likely seeing results.
