  • Who should take this course?

    This course is for anyone who wants to build their innovation toolbox. Past participants in previous courses have included business leaders, public sector employees, entrepreneurs, team leaders, consultants, students and more. The main criteria is a curiosity for the topic and a project/organization where you can apply new tools and learning.

  • I work with "innovation" formally in my job. Can I still take this course?

    Yes. This course introduces a broad and versatile set of methods that can be applied in a range of ways. Even if "innovation" is not part of your job description, you'll learn useful new tools to unlock insight, creativity and value in any project.

  • I've learned Hyper Island methods and tools before. Will this be valuable for me?

    Yes, the course will complement any previous Hyper Island experience, building on existing Hyper Island learning and putting the focus on how to apply tools and methods in your day-to-day work.

  • What is the level is this course? Beginner, intermediate or expert?

    This course is designed for those who are either beginners OR have some experience working with innovation tools. If you are uncertain about whether the course is right for you, please contact us to discuss.

  • What is the price of the course?

    The course price is $925 USD. Payment must be made in full upon registration. VAT may apply depending on your country of residence.

  • I work full-time, can I take this course?

    Yes. The course is designed to be flexible to your schedules. The course will require you to spend 5-7 hours per week.

  • Are there specific dates and times that I need to be available?

    The majority of the course content and tasks are available for you to go through any time you choose during the week, with the exception of a weekly one-hour webinar session which is scheduled every Tuesday from 3-4pm CET (10-11am EST).

  • Are there any prerequisites for this course?

    Each participant should be prepared to apply/practice new innovation tools and methods each week. Since many of these methods are collaborative, we recommend involving your team. If this is not possible, there are other ways you can apply the course content.

  • How is my team involved via my participation in the course?

    If you work in a team, we encourage you to include them in the experience through various exercises and activities. Some weekly challenges will ask you to try out tools in a team context. For example, trying out a new idea generation method or research tool. Participants should make their team members aware that they are taking the course, and get the team's buy-in to make the most of the practical nature of the course.
