Visual Merchandiser & Trade Marketing Coordinator

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Visual Merchandiser & Trade Marketing Coordinator with strong skills in Visual Merchandising & great knowledge of Trade Marketing. You will hold responsibility for securing the external visual identity for Norrøna Sport. You will lead planning and carry out execution of trade shows, marketing collaborations, showrooms, wholesale market visual presence and shop in shop projects. The position also holds the responsibility to set up and implement sales tools and POP within wholesale market. The position will create and secure implementation of visual guidelines for Norrøna Sport, based on business model and guidelines set in Norrøna Retail.

The position will hold a substantial amount of travelling ( up to 50 days a year).

Main responsibilities

Trade Shows

Design, plan & execute trade show projects

- Owner of trade show process leading design, coordination and execution of all trade shows

- Ensure budgeting, cost control and coordination of trade show activities in line with set marketing strategy and marketing plans

- Coordinate visuals, merchandising and product presentation

- Plan & hold in timeline process and deadlines

Trade Marketing & Wholesale

Responsible for marketing collaborations, visual guidelines, training and store projects in wholesale channel

- Plan, develop, execute and follow up common marketing plans with our wholesale customers together with marketing director

- Ensure visual guidelines and product presentations in wholesale in line with marketing strategy and Norrøna Retail department

- Responsible for creating business cases, designs and implementations of in store setups, shop in shop projects and new wholesale store openings

- Perform training of sales department and key clients

- Attend store visits and support on store documentation

- Responsible for budgeting and cost control

Showroom & seasonal launch show

Responsible for showroom visual guidelines & seasonal launch show

- Responsible for planning & implementation of HQ showroom per season

- Create showroom visual guidelines for export showrooms and secure implementation of these per season

- Secure overall standards of showrooms and offices

- Design, plan & execute seasonal launch fashion shows and presentations

- Responsible for budgeting, cost control and project follow through

POP and sales tools 

Responsible for planning and implementation of POP and sales tools to wholesale market

- Responsible for planning, presenting and implementation of POP and sales tools in wholesale market

- Secure forecasts and sales orders of seasonal and generic POP per season

- Handover to supply chain of POP forecasts, sales orders and POP collection plans.

- Secure and guide usage of POP in wholesale market

- Secure visuals and content on POP within production deadlines.

Marketing strategy

Support marketing department in development of marketing strategy and seasonal marketing packages

- Secure overall visual impact in wholesale market per season

- Support in styling and product presentation in marketing campaigns, shoots and presentations

- Develop window campaigns and POP visuals with Retail team and art director

- Support online experience and merchandising

- Support and holder of Norrøna Sport marketing plan

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in visual merchandising, store design or marketing. Graduate degree is a plus

- 3+ years visual merchandising experience

- Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal in English

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- A good understanding of todays digital media landscape and social media platforms

- Able to work independently and manage a demanding work load

- Experience with project management & budget holder

- Able to work in teams as a support player and also leading team projects

- Strong project management skills

- Mastery Excel and PowerPoint

- Experience running awareness-building campaigns, driving client outreach and lead-generation
