We're looking for an awesome UX/UI Designer to join our amazing startup in the sports and entertainment space in the heart of Shoreditch. We're rocking the world with our 'fan first' digital products, informing on sports news, rumours and analysing data to make super fans, super knowledgeable, whilst our video platform will see us become the Netflix of sport!
With an impressive set of initial sponsors across the football space we're signing deals globally to create our entertainment hub. Now is an amazing time to join us as we grow out the business.
You're a UX /UI Designer with a strong independent design style.
The portfolio is a mix of design styles showcasing your ability to work within brand guidelines, but with an ability to push those guidelines to the limit.
A passion for sport is useful, but not essential
A strong sense of UX and customer psychology, with at least a basic UCD process understanding
An eye for (and an interest in) data visualisation is a must.
Solid ability to create initial ideas for possible features and able to iterate and work on these; from wireframes to mockups to high-fidelity designs.
You believe user experience and graphic design go hand in hand.
Fastidious attention to detail.
Your portfolio will give us a sense of how you think.
You will be part of the product team and help us define the features that will make our website and apps stand out from the competition. Your UX/UI design skills will help us realise solutions which will allow fans to understand the complex world of sports analytics and engage with it.
As a part of a small (well funded and revenue generating) startup you will have a direct influence and impact on the products we produce and work in a high impact and very collaborative environment, where your opinion will make a real difference. You will be working mainly on our website and our mobile app, but will also get involved with products we build for our sports media partners around the world (the biggest names in the space)
We follow an atomic design methodology — we design component first, layout after. We try to understand the impact of a solution on the overall design system and work with an internal style guide to come up with clean, simple, reusable solutions. With the rest of the product team, you will be asked to constantly seek ways to improve and simplify our user experience.
