We are looking for a passionate social media manager to work with us at Abracademy.com. We are a digital e-learning platform that uses video and kits to teach users magic and performance values.
We need a doer, someone who can help us grow the community and increase sales for our magic online video courses. You’ll be 100% hands-on and working together with our freelance Content Strategist on improving our social content plan and execution.
The roles will need these things from you:
+Champion a vision for Abracademy in the digital and social media space
+Lead the creation our Content Strategist, Designer, Videographer and influencers for rich digital and social content to engage Abracademy’s target audience across media, platforms, and channels
+Execute comprehensive, relevant, and engaging social strategies, ensuring the alignment of business, brand, and marketing/promotions
+Manage content creation and day-to-day social media efforts including overseeing paid approach and organic on our social channels
+Partner with our Influencers on community campaign strategies and integration into other key digital assets and channels
+Develop and implement social media procedures, striving for continuous improvement
+Help drive innovation and education on the latest social media developments including changes, new social platforms, tools, partners, and resources
+Help create social measurement plans and formulas for calculating the impact of social campaigns, and develop reporting dashboards using social listening and other measurement tools
+Responsible for developing reports on highlights on the social media channels and conversations on a weekly and monthly basis.
The things we are looking from you:
+Managing Social Media channels
+An excellent communicator (written/verbal)
+Have a self-starter attitude
+1- 3 years experience on social media and content strategy
+Problem solver who has the ability to think big and small
+Capable of setting up and following up KPIs
You should have some experience in:
+Writing long and short copy
+Writing creative briefs (for video content)
+You should also have familiarity with:
+Writing a content plan
+The roles of paid and earned in content distribution
+Adobe Creative Suite (mostly Photoshop)
+Marketing and PR
This role would be a good fit for someone who wants to lead and grow a e-commerce digital platform. We’re looking for someone who is keen to help Abracademy grow by improving its content and online sales management and strategy.
You will be working 3 to 4 days a week from our office at Made by Many in Angel, London.
Contract: Part-time for 3 months with chance to extend
Abracademy is a startup which supports and accelerates people’s growth through the teaching of magic. We use century old practices mixed with brand new innovative processes to make this knowledge accessible to people. On the one hand we teach kids and teens through our online platform and workshops at schools. On the other we help companies by teaching their teams and employees how to become better and stronger together.
