Kingsday is an Amsterdam based advertising agency and works for clients like MINI, Duyvis, The Dutch Heart Foundation and Cornetto.
Traditionally, the advertising business is very much based on developing strategies and creative ideas, based on briefings by clients. Nowadays it's more and more important to keep track of what's going on in the world. What are the trends? What are the relevant insights? What are consumers saying? What are the changes and developments that are relevant for specific clients and brands? So instead of leaning backwards and wait for briefings, we have the ambition to operate more pro-actively.
In order to make that happen we are setting up a monitoring and real-time listening system to collect, filter and interpret relevant data. Subsequently the data needs to be transformed into creative briefs for our creatives to come up with great creative ideas for our clients.
Kingsday is looking for an English speaking intern who can help us to expand that ambition. The following tasks will be relevant:
- Work with our online monitoring/social listening tools
- Create dashboards that are relevant for various clients
- Filter and interpret relevant data
- Transform data into information that can serve as the basis for creative briefs
- Support in briefings and creative reviews
- Help preparing presentations to clients
In short you could say that it's a perfect blend of Marketing Information, Marketing Strategy and Creativity.
No IT background needed, but a curious mind and lots of common sense is a necessity. You'll work together with our digital data strategist and ohter interns.
The internship could last from 5 up to 12 months. Location is Amsterdam, at the beautiful canals. Regular allowance will be paid (300,- per month).
