During six weeks we had to use and explore different ways of data to start our own e-commerce business. The project included developing business model, product development, strategic action plan, set up a web shop and makes sales. During this project we were challenged to use data to optimize our site for user experience, marketing and SEO.

Bonnier Digital

During this project Hyper Island students worked with Bonnier Digital and one of the biggest economy newspaper in Sweden. The project included interaction design, product development, strategy and content management based on real-time and big data.

Digital Data, Real Change

A 72 hour collaborative workshop and exhibition lead by Stefanie Posavec, a London-based artist working across data visualization.

During this project we Hyper Island students worked with Munktell Science Park and Columbird, approaching real challenges within the organization.

Our task as a group was to develop and reach insights using a verity of analytical tools. In the course of the project we explored different ways of using data, as well as creating a strategic action plan based upon our learning and conclusions.

We threw a Data Hack Fest, saw 120 brains participate in the 8 hour hack – and close to 200 gathered for the mingle and showcase.
