I stand for my name! I lived in many places, do not ask me where I am from because I do not know. I moved to Stockholm form the sunny and beautiful Barcelona were I just finished my 4 year degree in Graphic Design at IED Barcelona. I believe my work speaks for it self, and my motto is "less is more". I am a person that is still in search for her self and I probably will never stop searching and learning. Home is Mallorca located in the beautiful Mediterranean sea but Barcelona is the city that stole my heart! I love to work with different kind of people, I find it so interesting how we are all our own individuals. I speak 3 languages fluently and hope to know some more in the future! Here at hyper island I work with some very talented and creative individuals but I also hope to work with more of you talented creatives! “Indigo Kids” is a editorial piece designed and curated by Joy Schmidmeier, is a conceptual representation of Royo where the aim was to find the aura of the company and realise its characteristics through a luxury book. The concept of Indigo Kids is based upon the belief of that out in the world there are children born with special characteristics. Indigo personalities experience life through their inner feelings. When feeling in control, Indigos are aware, fearless, creative and independent individuals with deep feelings who perceive life more through intuition. They follow their inner knowledge and abide by higher truths and show us what needs to be changed in our world. Royo is a company which calls for new insights and rules in dealing with one another and with nature. The power which drives the company to meet their vision is a constant and dynamic research and development.

Silodrome is an online blog, the modern gentleman’s and women’s guide to cars, motorcycles, gear, gadgets and gasoline culture. Updated twice daily. The overarching mission of Silodrome is to bring class, style and intelligence to the field of automotive and motorcycle media. The project of turning the Silodrome blog into a magazine was given to us as an editorial project in IED Barcelona. Silodrome is the a magazine that features the gasoline culture. The magazine contains different articles and fashion sections, it is the modern guide to cars, motorcycles, gear, boats and gadgets and gasoline culture in general.

We wanted the magazine to communicate an elegance of the classic vehicles and the whole gasoline culture. But at the same time it had to emphazise the passion, the roughness and boldness of the ones who ride. Giving a stage to the fantastic photographs from the blog was a natural choice.

We all know that Chocolate rules! Most of us have this strong affinity with chocolates. And since chocolates are among those products that come in almost the same taste, packaging or product presentation, therefore, is an very important factor. That is why, chocolates come in various color, strength, forms, shapes.

Dope chocolate was a project that was creted for a packaging class. The conncept of the packaging represents the medical form of drugs one can find, clean and simple. The shape of the packaging hexagonal containers where inspired by the chemcial forumlas that you see when you look at drugs. We found it intresting to play with the meaning of "Chocolate is like a drug" and decided to base our whole concept arround that meaning.

The Schmidmeier beer was a pakaging project that was creted at IED Barcelona. The brief was to cretae a Industrial beer brand label,that had to consider the shape, layout, typeface, size, style and recognisibility of the brands label.

The Schmidmeier beer was inspirde by the german beer culture. Wanting to crete a more classic and decorative logo with using elements such as the old illustration of the crown and classic font. The beer's name is a very german baverian name and fit's it well. The Schmidmeier beer transmits a message of beeing a trustworthy brand, and beeing just a classic beer.

Is a coorporate Identity project for a brand that designs and fabricates furniture and jewllery made of marine stainless steel. The goal was to crete a logo / identity for this brand.

These are some Illustration that I creted in my free time. When I create these illustrations I focuse on the geometric shapes and forms, I look at the photograph and analyze where the colour and shades change from the light and cover them with individual geometric shapes.
