Hyper Island has been granted four new vocational programs
That’s right. We now offer more new programs for Yrkeshögskolan (Yh) students at Hyper Island in Karlskrona or Stockholm.
Hyper Island Karlskrona – the birthplace of Hyper Island – has been awarded two new courses: UX Designer and Business Developer. These are now offered in addition to Motion Designer and Digital Media Creative.
“This year’s round means a doubling of the number of programs we offer in Karlskrona,” says Jörg Teichgraeber, Head of School Karlskrona. “We are extremely pleased with both UX Designer, as the region has expressed a great need, and Business Developer, which will be our first education that is mainly conducted remotely.”
Hyper Island Stockholm is has been granted two new tech courses: Frontend Developer and Data Analyst, which we now offer together with Business Developer, Content Developer, Design Lead, Digital Media Creative and Motion Creative.
“Together with the programs that were granted in 2018 in Stockholm, we are extremely pleased to be able to offer seven courses covering a wide digital area,” says Christopher-Robin Eklund, Head of School at Hyper Island. “We are very happy about the trust we have received from the Swedish University of Applied Sciences and that they have listened to our and the business community’s arguments about the need for education that will provide future-proof professions. We look forward to recruiting new staff to the schools that will help us secure education that provides the business community with highly sought-after skills.”
Do you live in one of the Nordic countries?
If you’re a legal resident of one of the Nordic countries, you may be eligible for government funding from the Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education (Myndigheten för yrkeshögskolan) to study one of our diploma programs in Sweden. This means that you can attend a full-time program free of charge and claim CSN for the time you spend studying.
