The following Terms of Use governs the use of www.hyperisland.com including related services, forums, comments, profiles etc.
Please read the rules contained in this Agreement carefully. You can access this Agreement any time at http://hyperisland.com/terms-of-use. Your use of this site will constitute your agreement to comply with the terms of use outlined on this page.
In addition to reviewing this Agreement, please read our Privacy Policy. Your use of the Website constitutes agreement to its terms and conditions as well. The Agreement may be modified from time to time, this page displays the last revision date.
Personal Use & Use of User ID/Password
When using hyperisland.com as a registered user, part of the Hyper Island Community, it is your responsibility to maintainin the confidentiality of your registration information. We (Hyper Island) have access to your profile information, but not your password. If you have forgotten your password you can use the “Forgot password” function available at the login section in th top header.
You are not allowed to sell, transfer or sublicense your registration information. Your registration information and profile are personal.
You may not share, reproduce or sell the work of others presented on hyperisland.com or theforum without explicit consent from the creator or Hyper Island respectively.
Prohibited Use
You may not use hyperisland.com for, or to aid in, any illegal activities.
Spam
Hyperisland.com maintains a zero tolerance policy on scam in regards to all content, whether on local database or third party (such as comment function). Spam will be reported and users will be banned.
Payments
Hyperisland.com uses Stripe for secure online credit card payments. As a third party service, Stripe ensures the security of the payment solution. Please refer to Stripe.com to read more about this service specifically.
Payment Conditions
The registration for a Hyper Island Executive Program is binding. As a course participant you are personally responsible for the cost of the course. The course fee must be paid in full no later than two weeks before the start of the course (final payment date).
The course fee must be paid upon receipt of invoice to secure your Executive Program seat.
Please note:
- The course fee is not refundable. If a participant is unable to attend, another can take his/her place at the booked dates without extra cost. Registrants may reschedule to a later session up to one week before the start of their session for a fee of $400 / £250 / 2500SEK. No rescheduling will be allowed after that point. Exception is made for illness proved by a doctor’s certificate (the participant can then be re-booked to another course date or get 90% of the course fee refunded).
- Hyper Island has the right to cancel a course due to too few applicants. Each paying participant will then be notified, no later than ten working days before the course starts, to be offered new course dates or a full refund.
- If the course is cancelled by Hyper Island, we will try and book you on another course. If you agree to the new conditions the registration is binding. If not, the fee will be fully refunded,
- The Hyper Island Executive Program course fee includes beverages, snacks and lunch.
- VAT is excluded.

Work
Hyperisland.com offers the functionality for students, alumni, clients and other people in our network to register profiles and showcase work. This work is owned by the individual hosting it on their specific profile and is subject to copyright rules according to the individual. No work can be reproduced, sold, borrowed or copied without consent from the owner.
