Motion Graphics takes you on a journey through motion graphic design, editing, and compositing as well as branding and concept development. This program is designed to build on yourprior experience in the field, whether professional or academic, and prepares you for a role as Motion Graphics Designer, Motion Graphics Producer, or Strategist.

Student Work
Program Details
This unique Hyper Island learning experience fuses elements of classical animation, drawing, and design with 2D and 3D graphics for video, film, internet, and mobile solutions. As a student you will work in close collaboration with industry professionals – most likely from top advertising agencies, web agencies, and production houses – drawing on their insight and experience.
Further, you will develop entrepreneurial skills, a capacity to create business strategies, understand group dynamics processes and practice self-leadership, giving you the tools to make it on your own.
The Motion Graphics program covers the following
- Storytelling and presentation skills
- Conceptualization, animation and Motion Graphics
- Basic animation techniques
- Treatment design
- Branding in Motion Graphics
- Client relations
- Entrepreneurship
- Digital understanding, in each of this program’s various modules
- Group dynamics, self-leadership and problem-solving
Internship within our global network
During your final 14 weeks you will undertake an internship, most likely with one of the companies in Hyper Island’s global network. Your internship will give you on-the-job opportunities, industry experience, and access to international contacts.

Motion Graphics program requirements
A minimum of one year of industry experience or equivalent within the field of digital design
High School Diploma or foreign equivalent.
Motion Graphics program fee
For International Students the 45-week program fee is 135,000 SEK. For persons with a legal residency in any of the Nordic countries (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland or Faeroe Islands), regardless of nationality or citizenship, it is possible to apply to one of the governmentally funded seats, i.e free of charge. Please note that applicants eligible for governmentally funded seats are also able to apply to International seats with a program fee.
