Community Manager, Stockholm
We are currently looking for a Community Manager at Hyper Island, Stockholm. For this position, you will need to have very good knowledge of social media and be fluent in English. You will take on considerable personal responsibility and need to possess the ability to influence, develop and be developed.
As a person, you are analytical, work fast and social. You are organised and service-oriented. You have extensive knowledge of social media and are an excellent writer. We appreciate that you are fascinated by the media industry development and have an ability to foresee the impact of social media activities. You have relevant training in communication and you should have at least two years’ work experience within this field. You speak and write English fluently and can express yourself well in both speech and writing. As a Community Manager, you will be the person responsible for all content on Hyper Island sites such as twitter, the blog, tour blog and master class blog. In your role, you will create and develop a new Hyper Island media room and take responsibility for the content of the training sites where Hyper Island has a presence. You will be the voice of Hyper Island in social networks and participate in creating and running international viral campaigns. You need to be skilled at finding new digital tools and new ways of exploiting them. You will be responsible for international promotion of Hyper Island’s programs and your work will include global monitoring of viral marketing, interactive communication and digital media. This position includes a lot of text production for the web, so it is very important that you are an excellent writer and can speak and write English fluently. Hyper Island has bases in Sweden, the UK and the USA, and some travel will be involved. This position is a temporary post until the turn of the year 2010/2011 with possibilities to an extension or even full time employment. You will be part of the marketing department and will report to the Marketing Director.
