a group's efficiency.


GDQ ― Integrated Model for Group Development
Organizations which not only educate their staff in the technical aspects of their work, but also in how a group can work most efficiently, increase the likelihood of creating high-performance teams.
Susan Wheelan has researched and practised the development of work groups for over 25 years. GDQ, The Group Development Questionnaire, is one of the results of her work.

Hyper Island’s staff has been taught this method by Susan Wheelan.

This is a very powerful measuring instrument for both leadership and working groups. It provides long-term knowledge about the actual value of invested time and money in teambuilding and team development.

The Group Development Questionnaire gives us a clear picture of which phase of development a group is in and helps us design the most appropriate interventions.

Timeaspect ― GDQ

GDQ-analysis: half a day.

Presentation of the results: one day.

We recommend using GDQ for regular follow-up of a group’s efficiency three or four times a year.

We offer GDQ as a complement to teambuilding and team development. This allows us to measure the results of our work, and to continuously adapt our methods to new insight.

While working with GDQ, the group learns to measure and analyze its own needs and well-being.
