It is now possible for industry players to support a Hyper Island Chair.

Companies, organizations and
individuals can now support the Hyper Island learning experience by paying the full course fee for a student chair on one of the Hyper Island Diploma Programs. In addition to the satisfaction cultivating talent brings, the supporter of the Chair also has the possibility to give a lecture to the students, and to create a special relation with Hyper Island on all levels.

The Hyper Island Chair will provide the financial aid some talents need to take part in the Hyper Island learning experience. In return, the Chair will give the sponsor a great possibility to get close to Hyper Island.

Get closer to Hyper Island students
Since more than 13 years Hyper Island has been educating top digital talent for the global market. Hyper Island is a commercial educational company and has mainly been financed by the Swedish government, providing that the industry finances one third of the education. Since the governmental funding continues to decrease, we need to find new ways of getting closer to the industry on all levels to be able to continue educate future talent.
(Until now the industry have supported Hyper Island with placements, lecturing, etc for which we are deeply grateful for. We hope this will be the reality for Hyper Island-students even more in the future. Thank you.)

Support a Chair is a minor part of how the industry can take part in developing great new talent. Other opportunities to get close to Hyper Island students: Become a Learning Partner, Talk at Industry Day, Hyper Island Internship Request-function.


We get contacted daily by companies from around the world who want Hyper Island interns. Generally each Hyper Island-student have between five, up to 56, internship requets.

The Hyper Island Internship Request aims to offer a new, more efficient, upgraded and well-organized way to get in contact with our full-time students regarding internship. If you are not registred already please support Hyper Island and sign up - Click here.

The two opportunities are:
• Hyper Island Chair Full: 9000EUR excl. VAT (full fee, one year)
• Hyper Island Chair Half: 4500EUR excl. VAT (half fee, one year)

Both cases will give the sponsor/supporter a physical chair at Hyper Island in Stockholm AND in Karlskrona, with company name engraved on it. "Your" chair can be used how often you want: to talk with students and faculty, or to just sit on in a more "let's hang around Hyper Island"-sense.

Hyper Island has the right to decide which student (after succeeding through the full application process) that should be able to get the possibility to go through a Hyper Island program for free.
